What more do we want from this season…sounds great
These colours are absolutely on trend for the AW 2015/2016 collection. They are great because they are quite neutral and whether you are LIGHT, DEEP, WARM, COOL, CLEAR or SOFT, you will easily find in Designer or High Street Shops your colour which complements your skin tone, eye and hair colour. I love to hear how the colours are described and whenever I go shopping I feel I want to grab a chocolate or a nice slice of a caramel/fudge cake with a great cup of coffee with the cinnamon sprinkle.
All fashion designers added these great colours to their collections whether as a detail or one colour garment. Let’s not forget these ‘must have’ colours were statement colours of the 60s and 70s which stand out quite nicely among the rest of the styles in this AW season…
Here, I want to share with you some collections and hope they will be a source of inspiration for your fashion statement in this season.
ETRO, the Italian luxury fashion brand of the modern day produces ready-to-wear pieces, shoes, accessories, leather goods etc..The paisley pattern became a staple of the ETRO fashion house collections, inspired by the hundred and fifty cashmere shawls dating back to the 1810 to 1880 time period. The fabrics for this season are beautiful, the designs exquisite and the colour combinations incredibly creative. Once you get used to these lovely designs, it will be hard to keep looking at the plain old colour blocks without the added spice of these ETRO patterns. If you are creative or dramatic, this might be your choice.
For classics, naturals and city chics this timeless Burberry coat is available again in this lovely fudge colour. Very useful and can be combined with many trendy garments. Whether for work or a casual occasion, you won’t go wrong with this trendy coat. The finish is immaculate. You can get flared jeans to wear with this coat and still look elegant. Statement shoes would add a bit of spice too.
PRADA came out with a very playful collection for this season. Here we can see how the classic sleeveless blazer/dress is a quintessential style piece that’s suitable for every woman’s wardrobe. Whether one has a classic sense of style or prefers a more contemporary look, any woman can greatly benefit from its smart style and versatile design.
Now we can move to the more affordable High Street brands and still achieve that great fashionable 60s and 70s look for less. Walking around London’s Knightsbridge a few days back, I popped in Harrods of course – would be rude not to :), but what grabbed my attention there is not what I want to share now. I want to share more what I saw in ZARA, TOPSHOP, RIVER ISLAND, MANGO, NEW LOOK, MASSIMO DUTTI.. There are some amazing jumpsuits, skirts, dresses and coats. Suedes, shearlings, leather, cashmeres and furs are coming in all sorts of nibbly combinations. So before you go shopping, plan ahead – otherwise you may easily get lost in all this beauty and stay without hard earned money! Research on High Street Shops websites and write a list of the key pieces which you need. That will save your time and money. Or you can use our online styling & shopping advice service.

You can notice fur is taking a big place in this season again, but you don’t have to worry about it. Just add a detachable fur collar, a handbag or this seasons absolute must – a FUR KEYRING and you’ll look fabulous. Most importantly you won’t need to spend a fortune to achieve that trendy look.
